Author, Speaker, and Consultant Tom Searcy recently published an article entitled What Drives Customer Loyalty Now? in Inc. Magazine. In his article, Searcy advised putting away the golf clubs because personal relationships aren’t enough. Winning deals in today’s market requires expertise. He summed it up as follows:

They need partners (experts) who have taken the time to understand their unique business processes and can make effective recommendations that will save them time and money while reducing overall business risk.

In 1951, William Van Dyke Sr. formed Darwill in Chicago to imprint signs for Florsheim Shoes retail stores.
