Digitally printed textile backdrop and a variety of digitally printed scarves will highlight the quality and versatility of digital textile printing

WhatTheyThink has partnered with EFI to use EFI Reggiani digitally printed textiles to accent the professional video studio WhatTheyThink will be operating onsite at drupa 2024. EFI will produce a range of scarves that can be worn by video interviewers as well as a stunning “drupa red” backdrop for the studio.  

“I’m excited to be able to wear these stunning scarves on camera,” said Cary Sherburne, Senior Editor at WhatTheyThink and primary video interviewer during the first half of the show. “I had the opportunity recently to view a number of potential designs at EFI’s new facility in Bergamo, Italy, and see some of these pieces being produced on a variety of printers, ranging from the EFI Reggiani COLORS with its stunning color results, to EFI Reggiani BOLT XS at the high end, as well as the EFI  Reggiani ecoTERRA, which will be featured at drupa. The colors are brilliant, and the pieces have a very soft hand feel. Our hope is that having these fabric pieces in our studio and featured on our videos will inspire the textile industry to move faster to adopt digital fabric printing technologies such as those being offered by EFI Reggiani. Digital textile printing is more sustainable and can be more cost effective when considering the ability to move product to the market faster while reducing inventory risk. And long gone are the days when brands, retailers and consumers have any issues at all with the quality that can be achieved.”

EFI is located in Hall 9, Stands A20-1 and A20-2. Visitors to the EFI stand will be able to experience first-hand the gains that have been made in quality, versatility, and sustainability of digital textile printing. In addition. EFI will be featuring digital printing solutions designed for the packaging and display graphics markets.

Visitors to drupa are invited to stop by the WhatTheyThink video studio, located in Building 7, to view the textile samples EFI has provided and the difference they make in studio appearance.

WhatTheyThink hat sich mit EFI zusammengetan, um mit den von EFI Reggiani digital bedruckten Textilien das professionelle Videostudio, das WhatTheyThink vor Ort auf der drupa 2024 betreiben wird, auszustatten. EFI wird eine Reihe von Seidenschals produzieren, die von Videointerviewern getragen werden können, sowie einen atemberaubenden „drupa-roten“ Hintergrund für das Studio. 

„Ich freue mich darauf, diese wunderschönen Schald vor der Kamera tragen zu können“, sagt Cary Sherburne, Senior Editor bei WhatTheyThink und Hauptinterviewerin in der ersten Hälfte der Ausstellung. „Ich hatte kürzlich die Gelegenheit, eine Reihe potenzieller Designs in der neuen Produktionsstätte von EFI in Bergamo, Italien, zu begutachten und zuzusehen, wie einige dieser Stücke auf den Druckmaschinen produziert werden, von der EFI Reggiani COLORS mit ihrer atemberaubenden Farbwiedergabe über die EFI Reggiani BOLT XS im High-End-Bereich bis hin zur EFI Reggiani ecoTERRA, die auf der drupa zu sehen sein wird. Die Farben sind brillant, und die Textilien fühlen sich sehr weich an. Wir hoffen, dass wir mit den Stoffen in unserem Studio und in unseren Videos die Textilindustrie dazu inspirieren können, digitale Textildrucktechnologien, wie sie von EFI Reggiani angeboten werden, schneller zu übernehmen. Der digitale Textildruck ist nachhaltiger und kann kosteneffizienter sein, wenn man bedenkt, dass die Produkte schneller auf den Markt gebracht werden können und gleichzeitig das Lagerhaltungsrisiko reduziert wird. Die Zeiten, in denen Marken, Einzelhändler und Verbraucher Probleme mit der erreichbaren Qualität hatten, sind längst vorbei.“

EFI befindet sich in Halle 9, auf den Ständen A20-1 und A20-2. Besucher des EFI-Standes können aus erster Hand erfahren, welche Fortschritte bei der Qualität, Vielseitigkeit und Nachhaltigkeit des digitalen Textildrucks gemacht wurden. Darüber hinaus wird EFI  Digitaldrucklösungen für den Verpackungs- und Display-Graphics-Markt vorstellen.

Besucher der drupa sind eingeladen, im WhatTheyThink-Videostudio in Gebäude 7 vorbeizuschauen, um sich die von EFI zur Verfügung gestellten Textilmuster anzusehen und zu sehen, welchen Unterschied sie im Erscheinungsbild des Studios machen.
