It’s 6 p.m. and the latest challenge has landed with a thud in your email. You need to quickly develop new creative content for a multi-touch campaign that is starting tomorrow. And we’re in the middle of one of the most challenging times! It doesn’t matter whythere is a marketing emergency because it’s your job to meet them and conquer them! What do you do?

Thanks to a new collaboration between the global design platform Canva and the robust workplace solutions team at Office Depot, the solution could be just a few clicks away. Most people know 33-year old Office Depot as the place to acquire office goods. Early in their development, Office Depot realized that providing quality printing services would help their customers, both those running businesses and others who needed print. Students, teachers, managers of sports leagues, and community associations found their way to Office Depot to print flyers, posters, guidebooks, and signs. Both in stores and in their external printing plants, Office Depot amassed an array of print solutions to meet the needs of their customers, but they required the customers to bring their print-ready files. The partnership with Canva brings a solution to those who need an easy-to-use creative platform to support their marketing emergencies, as well as the regular needs of business and other print buyers.

Canva began as an online tool for building school yearbooks in Australia. The goal was to make design easier than traditional design tools, but still provide substantial design freedom. Today, the Canva toolkit makes it easy to create everything from reports and posters to menus and yard signs. Accessed through the Business Services/Design Services section of the Office Depot website, you land on a portal to a cavalcade of templates covering everything from dinner party menus to grand opening flyers.
