It’s all academic at this point, but at $6.48 billion, February shipments were down from January’s $6.94 billion, but well above February 2019’s $6.22 billion—and was the best February we’ve had since 2016.
February—the last month in what we can call The Before Times—was in step with what hashad become the usual seasonality—and we expect March to be a little better than one might expect (things didn’t go truly south until midway through the month; it was the last two weeks that felt like an eternity). April shipments data will probably start to track the carnage. Hold on tight.
