Harris & Bruno ExcelCoat ZRS Workflow Center Open House a Success

Press release from the issuing company

Roseville, Calif. – Harris & Bruno International announces that the first open house of its ExcelCoat ZRS Flood/Spot Coater workflow center March 11–12 was a success, already resulting in at least one ZRS sale, with more demonstrations planned.

“We’re excited for customers to see the ExcelCoat ZRS’s various spot coating capabilities,” Vice President of Global Business Development Scott Michels said about why the open house was held. “We have perfected our optical registration system and this was our first time showcasing the entire workflow, from pre-press, to plate cutting, mounting, and running the machine.”

Among the highlights of the open house, customers were most drawn to the accuracy of ExcelCoat’s spot registration and the swiftness of every setup or changeover.

“Soft touch, gloss, priming, H&B can take care of you,” said attending Hewlett Packard Executive Account Manager Eric Zirbel. “Just a very well-built machine. Given my technical/mechanical background and testing various pieces of equipment, I have to say that I am impressed with the workmanship. A great value for production and quality.”

The ExcelCoat ZRS Spot Coater is a high-throughput, multipurpose machine that raises the bar in advanced finishing machinery. Utilizing a quick-change flexo-style plate system and sophisticated camera registration technology, the ZRS is the perfect fit for packaging and commercial print applications. Harris & Bruno is planning more open houses, and encourages anyone interested in attending the next one to send an email to [email protected].

H&B Vice President of Operations Jim Riga briefly explains the ExcelCoat ZRS design features and answers technical questions before a demonstration takes place during a March 11-12 Harris & Bruno International open house.
