Ripon, Wis. – With the constant challenge of improving production speeds, lowering costs, and achieving even higher quality standards, Ripon Printers recently added the advanced MPT-17 stretch film bander to its already extensive bindery capabilities. Manufactured by Controls Engineering (Middleton, WI) the new equipment provides an operator-loaded bander that applies a cost-effective and product-friendly banding material for perfect bound or saddle-stitched books and general commercial print materials. The result is a secure, recyclable banding product that reduces labor and strain on operators.

The MPT-17 stretch bander complements the installation last spring of an MCS Eagle FlexPrint Inkjet System, one of the most advanced inkjet systems in the mailing and printing industries.
