Press release from the issuing company
Brookfield, Wis. – Colordyne Technologies is pleased to announce the promotion of John Urban to Product Manager - Production Class. Urban will be responsible for product development as well as organic and strategic business growth of Colordyne's new 3600 Series aqueous pigment technology.
While in his previous position at Colordyne, Urban played a key role in product and technology development for the 3600 Series aqueous pigment engine. With his in-depth knowledge of Colordyne's newest technology, Urban will continue to support development efforts while building a long-term vision and growth strategy for the product line. Additionally, he will manage customer success for Colordyne's Production Class solutions by ensuring production plans, timelines and product capabilities meet client expectations.
"As product manager for Colordyne's Production Class solutions, one of my priorities is developing strong relationships with suppliers and print providers," said Urban. "Colordyne's newest technology will open new markets to customers who are looking to integrate an aqueous pigment print engine into their systems, as well as customers who are interested in adding digital print production to their business. The pigment ink works with more substrates than other aqueous inkjet technology and offers enhanced durability to meet a wider range of business and application needs."
Previously, Urban served as Colordyne's mechanical engineer. He was involved in the design and development of the 2800 Series Mini Laser Pro, 3600 Series UV - Retrofit and worked on various 3600 Series AQ products. Urban has over 20 years of experience working as a mechanical engineer and over 17 years of experience in the print industry. Before joining Colordyne, he was a manufacturing process manager for LS Research and spent 16 years as a senior mechanical engineer at QuadTech.
Colordyne will be hosting an open house at its headquarters in Brookfield, WI on March 27, 2019, to showcase the new 3600 Series aqueous pigment print engine. Attendees will have the opportunity to see live demonstrations of the engine and Colordyne's full suite of solutions.
