Bodoni Systems Releases pressSIGN 9.2

Press release from the issuing company

Bodoni Systems Ltd (UK) announced a major update of their colour measurement software, pressSIGN 9.2.

PressSIGN is used in the print, packaging and graphics industry to confirm colour accuracy of printed product from all press types.

The new update is free for owners of pressSIGN 9 and includes some significant updates including a module linking spot colour allocation to Pantone Live™ libraries, enabling printers to directly target custom spot colours from this portal.

Another much requested feature sees pressSIGN add the ability to target Density numbers rather than colour L*a*b* values. This allows press operators to directly target custom colour values which may not match a specific print target profile, enabling them to monitor and maintain output based upon upon ink density.

Brand owners can now enjoy multi-site project support. Brand owners who have multiple sites printing the same job can gather measurement data from multiple jobs across multiple sites in a single project, making coordinating and comparing performance much easier. This data is gathered automatically by sites connected through pressSIGN's Global Print Management network.

PressSIGN is represented by Bodoni North America based in Belleville, Ontario, Canada.
