IWCO Direct Achieves G7 Colorspace Master Qualification for Lithographic and Digital Equipment Across its Platform

Chanhassen, Minn. – IWCO Direct, a leading provider of data-driven direct marketing solutions, announced it has achieved G7® Colorspace Master Qualification across its platform. Colorspace qualification is the most stringent level of G7 compliance recognized by Idealliance®, a not-for-profit industry group dedicated to guiding print production best practices, specifications, and standards worldwide. The breadth of the Colorspace qualification assures IWCO Direct clients with multi-piece products that their marketing materials will share the same high-quality appearance regardless of the equipment individual pieces are produced on.

The Colorspace qualification applies to the company’s web and sheet-fed lithographic presses, continuous and cut-sheet digital equipment, and proofing devices at all IWCO Direct facilities. The company plans to pursue G7 Colorspace qualification for flexographic printing on its envelope converters in the coming year.

IWCO Direct previously achieved G7® Grayscale Master Qualification across its platform in 2016. The new Colorspace qualification demonstrates that IWCO Direct maintains extremely tight tolerances throughout the whole color space and assures that it can consistently reproduce the entire color space and not just the primaries and secondaries (CMY and RGB). For clients, the qualification is further proof of IWCO Direct’s commitment to providing a measurable, predictable, and uniform color management process for paper-based components of omnichannel campaigns.
