RadTech Announces Program for BIG IDEAS for UV+EB Technology Conference

Chevy Chase, Md. – RadTech, the nonprofit for the advancement of UV+EB training and education, announces the conference program for BIG IDEAS for UV+EB Technology, taking place March 19-20, 2019 at the Crowne Plaza Redondo Beach & Marina Hotel in Redondo Beach, California.

Ultraviolet and electron beam processes (UV+EB) are becoming vital drivers of growth in next-gen fabrication, finishing, protection and adhesion technologies for a wide range of applications. The BIG IDEAS conference program will feature conference sessions on 3D Printing / Additive Manufacturing, UV LED, Horticulture, Food & Beverage Safety, Data-Driven Materials, and Electronics. There will also be a general "Big Ideas" session focusing on new applications and enabling technologies in areas like material development, composites, energy storage, low-migration packaging, and PVC chrome replacement. Rita Loof, Environmental Director for RadTech, will also give a special presentation on how UV+EB technology has recently been named a Best Available Control Technology (BACT) in California. Additional companies and organizations speaking include: Ford Motor Company, Formlabs, Fast Radius, Origin, Julia Daviy, US Naval Research Lab, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, NIST, FDA, UCLA, Syracuse University, MacDermid, allnex, CPS, Sartomer, Uncountable, Corning, Illumitex, AAFC, Aquisense, and more.

BIG IDEAS for UV+EB Technology will also feature a table-top exhibition where companies will present their newest products and biggest ideas for the UV+EB industry.
