Supplier Trade Fair Sold Out at FSEA·IADD Joint Conference

Press release from the issuing company

Expecting Largest FSEA·IADD Joint Conference Ever

The Foil & Specialty Effects Association (FSEA) and the International Association of Diecutting and Diemaking (IADD) are preparing to welcome to the Nashville area their largest joint conference ever for members of the print finishing, diecutting and diemaking industries. In addition, nearly 30 suppliers to the industry will be on hand for the Supplier Trade Fair, which is now sold out.

The 2018 Joint Conference will be held April 11-13 at the Franklin Marriott Cool Springs in Franklin, Tennessee, USA. The conference offers a supplier trade fair, educational programming and an awards reception where the recipients of the FSEA Gold Leaf Awards, FSEA Lifetime Achievement Award and IADD Presidential Award will be honored. New this year, conference attendees will have the opportunity to share best practices on a variety of subjects with industry peers as part of the Networking Workshops held during conference programming.

Attendees will hear industry experts and peer experiences on topics of keen interest, such as:

  • Foil Recyclability: The disposal of used hot stamping and cold foil has been a challenge for the foil industry for many years. Randall and Hansen will share information on a new partnership between Channeled Resources Group (CSG) and FSEA to provide sustainable alternatives for used or obsolete foil rolls through Channeled Resources’ partners.
  • Recruiting Young Employees: Finding and developing a qualified workforce is the number one issue facing most manufacturers today, but figuring out where to start can be overwhelming. While workforce needs vary across regions and types of manufacturing, attendees can get ideas from the range of activities already in place and adapt solutions to meet their specific needs.
  • Impact on Shelf Presence: This workshop will discuss three packaging studies created through a partnership with Clemson University to measure the impact of high-visibility enhancements on shelf presence in retail situations. Results from the latest study – on specialty UV coating’s impact on consumer behavior – will be shared for the first time.
