Strategic Partnerships Toolkit, Company Profile Are National Finalists
Chicago, Ill. – PSDA is excited to announce that the PS Magazine staff won five “Azbee” awards, including two national ones, from the most prestigious B2B publication competition in the United States.
The “Azbees” are organized and judged by the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE), which received more than 1,100 print and digital entries this year. The awards are open to all U.S.-based business and trade publications.
PS Magazine captured national awards — among the top three entries in the country — for the PSDA Strategic Partnerships Toolkit (E-Book category), an interactive guide that helps distributors and manufacturers build stronger alliances, and Editor-in-Chief Darin Painter’s feature on the fun-loving team at Hotcards (Company Profile category). Those entries also won Gold in ASBPE’s Upper Midwest region. Both national awards will be unveiled May 10 at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.
Painter also won an Azbee regional award for his breakdown of the recent DemandBridge/e-Quantum deal.
“These awards were a team effort, and they speak to our writing and design talent. It’s a testament to the hard work of our entire team,” said Barbara O’Connor, executive vice president of PSDA. “It also speaks to the notion that it’s important to continually deliver great content to members. We believe the quality and usefulness of our content distinguishes the magazine from its competitors.”
