She'll also share actions the industry can take in order to capitalize on opportunities ahead.

Ryan MacFarlane, supervisory special agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigations, will shed light on today's increasingly dangerous cybersecurity threats. She'll also call upon her experiences in building strong teams and creating the right culture for current and future employees.

Tom Oris, director of procurement at Wyandot Snacks, will illuminate major shifts in the retail marketplace, such as Amazon's acquisition of Whole Foods and increasing e-commerce sales-all with an eye towards the role of paperboard packaging. He'll address how paperboard packaging manufacturers have followed suit with market changes and how they can stay one step ahead of the curve.

Jeff Rosensweig, professor and economist at Emory University, will show attendees how to navigate today's stormy sea of economic and geopolitical changes, security threats and new consumer preferences. He'll also address tax reform, the FED and interest rates, exchange rates, trade policy and the job market.

Mike Scott, executive coach and founder of Mike Scott and Associates, will speak to attendees on how to create a culture of accountability within their organizations. He'll offer tools for perfecting team communications, decreasing errors and rework and tracking progress-all to jumpstart companies' productivity and revenue growth. Mike will also show attendees what to do if someone in their organization is not accountable.

"I look forward to hearing the speakers' insights, tips and tricks," said Ben Markens, PPC president. "PPC members come to our biannual conferences from across the U.S. and Canada, greatly in part, to learn how to better their businesses. Covering crucial topics from leadership to cyber security, the Fall Meeting speakers should help them do just that."

Taking place over three days at the Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa, the conference will feature an awards banquet honoring the winners of the 2017 North American Paperboard Packaging Competition as well as panel discussions with the designers of the winning entries. In addition, attendees will participate in networking sessions and small, special-interest meetings like the Digital Converting Community and the New Generation Leaders Workshop.
