Emmeci USA Joins the Paperboard Packaging Council

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Emmeci USA, LLC has joined the Paperboard Packaging Council (PPC), the North American association for paperboard packaging manufacturers and their suppliers. 
 
Headquartered in East Providence, Rhode Island, Emmeci USA sells, installs and services automated machines for the production of paper and paperboard rigid boxes as well as flat board products. The firm is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Emmeci Group S.p.A., which is located in the Tuscany region of Italy and where Emmeci equipment is researched, designed and assembled.  
 
Responsible for the entire manufacturing process, Emmeci Group has an extensive research and development department that utilizes 2D-3D CAD design technology. They also have a complete production area with a machine tool shop and camera-assisted work zones for manufacturing technologically-advanced mechanical component parts.
 
Emmeci’s equipment helps rigid box converters serve many diverse market segments. The luxury segment includes cosmetics, jewelry, upscale apparel and shoes, wine and spirits and other gift boxes for a variety of market segments. The electronics segment includes smart phones and other personal devices as well as special edition CDs, DVDs and books. Emmeci equipment also produces rigid boxes for the confection and game board industries, along with puzzles, display stands, posters and calendars.
