Annual Safety Recognition Program puts members through safety paces

Fairfax, Virginia - SGIA has recognized 51 member companies which, through their own self-inspection and verification, achieved excellence in safety in 2016. The members conducted bimonthly inspections of their facilities based on a checklist provided by SGIA.

“Safety isn’t just necessary, it’s a good business practice that can lead to benefits including reduced costs and improved employee morale,” said Allison Lundy, Regulatory Assistant, Government & Business Information, SGIA. “Our Safety Recognition Program gives SGIA members the resources they need to create a safe working environment. The 2016 recognition recipients went above and beyond with their efforts.”
