GSG Appoints AVP of Credit & Syndications

New York, NY - GSG Financial LLC, a leading independent finance company announced the key strategic hire of Victoria J. Mora as AVP of Credit & Syndications.  Mora will be responsible for credit underwriting of mid-ticket transactions, providing analysis for GSG’s banking partners as well as the CFO, and for monitoring and modifying credit scoring models on a regular basis. She will report to the Chief Financial and Risk Officer, Walter Stranzl. 

“Victoria comes to GSG with a strong credit background and great people skills,” said Stranzl.  “As GSG looks to continue to expand, we were looking for someone with just that unique combination.  Victoria will be a great asset to our firm.”

Prior to joining GSG, Victoria worked in Chicago at MB Financial Bank. Mora started at MB Financial in a two-year rotational program as a Credit Analyst, and later transitioned into the position of Commercial Banking Officer. While at MB she managed a commercial portfolio of $26 million for middle market companies in the Chicago area, provided high quality financial products for equipment purchases, and was an active member of the Equipment Lease and Finance Association. Mora received her BS in Finance and Marketing with a concentration in Sales Leadership from DePaul University.
