CHICAGO--May 6, 2004-- R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company has been awarded multi-year contracts with Premier, Inc., UnumProvident and Pan-American Life. "Such agreements enable us to work closely with our customers to help them achieve their goals for enhanced communications, more efficient transactions and lower total costs. Furthermore, the wide range of products and services represented by these agreements illustrates the breadth and depth of RR Donnelley's capabilities." Premier is an alliance in the U.S. healthcare industry that includes 1,500 acute care and more than 15,000 alternate site facilities. Moore Wallace, an RR Donnelley company, will continue to offer forms and related products to Premier member facilities under terms of the multi-source contract with Premier Purchasing Partners, LP. Premier members can take advantage of Moore Wallace's wide range of printing, including forms, labels, commercial print, positive patient identification, outsourced patient billing, electronic documents and the industry leading forms management software and expertise. The agreement between UnumProvident and Moore Wallace extends an established relationship in which Moore Wallace provides document management services for all of UnumProvident's printed materials. "Through a combination of onsite support, composition, warehousing and fulfillment services, we manage an inventory of 3,300 different forms and fulfill 75,000 requisitions annually for UnumProvident." Pan-American Life has signed a contract that includes template-based custom documents and use of Moore Wallace's @winXS(TM) on-line print management tool. With @winXS(TM), individual users can access and order preprinted, digitally produced and customized documents in a controlled environment.
