The alliance builds on a strong history of technology development and integration, with special focus on solutions that enable businesses to achieve revenue generation opportunities, productivity enhancements and competitive advantages. “Our focus as a company, and in concert with our partners, is to provide businesses with some of the most innovative on-demand, real time marketing solutions available in the industry,” said Rene Mueller, CEO of GMC Software AG. “Our partnership is based on exceptionally strong technology leadership and a complementary vision for personalized document composition and targeted marketing. We believe our combined solutions offer the best possible alternatives for our customers to achieve significant productivity gains and time to market advantages.” “Digital publishing is in the midst of significant transformation, leading the way,” said Francis McMahon, product marketing section director, Digital Publishing Solutions, HP. “As print runs continue to get smaller and smaller, and rapid time to market becomes even more critical to the businesses we serve, we must provide them with the improved digital workflows, personalized communications and on-demand production capabilities that enable them to react quickly and efficiently to evolving market demands.” The joint solutions leverage GMC PrintNet T Triple Suite software, a single environment, all-in-one solution for layout creation, structured variable and fixed data processing, and high-speed printing of personalized, data-driven applications. PrintNet T software features a highly intuitive graphical design environment to easily and cost-effectively create, change and maintain communication applications. With this single solution, organizations can more easily address their transaction, promotional and one-to-one communications applications. GMC complements its PrintNet T Triple Suite software with innovative Web2Print and WebProof web capabilities to extend document design, approval and live data proofing capabilities to remote corporate users and to external service providers such as graphic design, advertising and marketing firms. Additional components of the combined solutions are HP’s comprehensive digital printing product portfolio, including: the HP Indigo press 5000 for high-volume, on-demand printing; the HP Color 9850mpf, HP’s first high-speed color multifunction printer; two recently introduced large-format printing, ink and media systems for fade-resistant photos, the HP Designjet 30 printer and HP Designjet 130 printer; and the HP Indigo press 3050. HP will also bring its advanced color science technologies, information technology expertise and knowledge of the graphic arts, and marketing capabilities for enterprise companies to bear in the joint solutions offerings. “We are very pleased to be an HP partner and to participate with them as a key solution provider,” said Rene Mueller, CEO of GMC Software AG. “This joint initiative, and the strong technology alliances at its foundation, demonstrates our mutual desire to provide our customers with the most innovative and complete solutions available.
