Kodak to Speak on AIPIA Brand Protection Strategy Panel

Press release from the issuing company

Brand protection expert Keith Cutri to discuss active and intelligent packaging

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Keith Cutri, Kodak’s Director of Business Development for Packaging & Brand Management Services, will be a panelist for the Active & Intelligent Packaging Industry Association’s (AIPIA) webinar on “Active and Intelligent Packaging for Brand Protection.” The panel takes place Wednesday, March 19 at 2:00 p.m. ET and will focus on ways to increase brand protection and reduce counterfeiting.

Drawing from his background as an FBI special agent and in corporate security and brand protection in the private sector, Cutri will explore the process of assessing and comparing a company’s brand protection methodologies to a leading end-to-end brand protection program. Cutri will introduce a Brand Protection Score Card and challenge the audience to grade their own brand protection program. The event is aimed directly at professionals involved in active and intelligent packaging for consumer packaged goods companies and other brand owners interested in learning how new packaging technologies can support a brand protection program.

“Assessing your own brand protection program is a critical step in determining how effective your anti-counterfeiting and anti-diversion efforts are, compared to leading practices,” said Cutri.

Beyond counterfeiting, gray market product diversion and illicit trade create risks for companies, making investigation and enforcement plans a necessary supplement to any product authentication or track & trace system a company may have in place.  Kodak is a global leader in Brand Protection Solutions, with a full suite of comprehensive services for all your commercial and digital printing needs.
