(Rolling Meadows, IL November 18 ,2003) As the third offering in their Survivor Series Seminars, Komori America will host a day dedicated to perfecting technology at their Rolling Meadows, IL facility. Komori Product Manager Jacki Hudmon says “This seminar is an excellent opportunity to learn about the myths and realities of perfecting, and will help printers determine if a perfecting press is the right solution for their business.” GATF consultant Frank Gualtieri, an expert on pressroom productivity will be on hand to discuss perfecting and its role in the pressroom.
In addition to perfecting, a session on color management will be conducted by Marc Levine, Technical Sales Engineer for Monaco Systems/X-rite Inc. Levine will present the latest tools for color management and provide insight on incorporating color management into the pressroom workflow.
Live demonstrations of Komori’s Lithrone Super Perfector, the press that prints both sides of the sheet in a single pass without flipping the sheet, and the Lithrone 28 perfector will also be conducted as part of the day’s events. “We’re looking forward to demonstrating the new Lithrone perfector design on the 28P.
This new perfector is also available on our award winning Lithrone S40. Komori has spent signficant R&D time redesigning our perfector and we think it’s the best in the industry,” says Komori Product Manager Doug Schardt.
“We’re excited to have Frank Gualtieri with us to present his view on perfecting. We think this event is particularly timely as printers look to determine their needs for the coming year,” said Hudmon.
