Presstek Strengthens On-Press Business Unit, Adds Execs

HUDSON, N.H., Oct. 30 -- Presstek, Inc., a leading provider of direct digital imaging technology, today announced the addition of three new individuals to its On-Press Business Unit. Scott Mitchell has joined the company as Director, On-Press Consumables. Victor J. Wiley has joined the company as Sales Manager, On-Press for the western region, and Joshua C. Wotsch has joined the company as Sales Manager, On-Press for the southern region. As Director, On-Press Consumables, Scott Mitchell is responsible for managing and developing Presstek's important DI plate business. Products under his direction include Presstek's spooled plate products for the Quickmaster DI, Ryobi, 46 Karat presses, as well as plates for the KPG DirectPress, the 74 Karat press and the Saphira QuickPlate. Mitchell brings over twenty years of business experience in marketing, sales and finance to Presstek. Before joining Presstek, he was employed as Vice President Marketing and Business Development at CSP, Inc., a provider of E/M business solutions, and design and manufacture of ultra-dense multi- computers for mission critical defense applications; Chief Operating Officer of Dataware Solutions, Inc., a provider of customer software and support solutions for the financial services industry; Stratus Computer, Inc., the industry's largest manufacturer of fault-tolerant computer systems; as well as Digital Equipment Corporation and General Motors. Mitchell holds a Masters in Science, Computer Information Systems from Bentley College, a Masters of Business Administration from Wake Forest University and a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Wake Forest University. As Sales Manager, On-Press for the western region, Victor Wiley is responsible for managing, developing and supporting Presstek's DI partners' sales in the western region of North America. Wiley brings two decades of experience in the printing industry to Presstek. For the past 20 years, Wiley was with Heidelberg USA, last serving as Product Sales Manager, Western Region responsible for implementing the company's DI products for seven years. Previous to that, Wiley was an Account Sales Representative representing Heidelberg's full line equipment sales for printing and bindery products. Wiley began his career at Heidelberg as a Press Instructor, training and demonstrating press equipment to existing and potential customers. Wiley attended California State University majoring in Printing Management/Graphic Communications. In his role as Sales Manager for the southern region, Joshua Wotsch is responsible for managing, developing and supporting Presstek's DI partners' sales in the southern region of North America. Wotsch brings a strong background in DI and print industry sales and support experience to Presstek. Before joining Presstek, Wotsch was with xpedx Digital Imaging (an International Paper Co. and formerly Taussig's Graphic Supply). While at xpedx, Wotsch sold CTP workflow solutions and assisted in developing a national sales program for value-added, turnkey, ROI- based digital workflow solutions and bundled services to the Printing & Graphic Arts industry. He was responsible for maintaining active sales opportunities of over $3 million while overseeing and implementing ongoing installations. Prior to xpedx, he was with Taussig's Graphic Supply where he managed a four-state territory. Wotsch holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from Ohio State University. He also holds membership with the Kappa Sigma Fraternity.
