Former T/R Systems CEO Joins IKON VP of Professional Services

VALLEY FORGE, Pa.--Oct. 29, 2003-- IKON Office Solutions, the world's largest independent channel for document management systems and services, today announced that Michael Kohlsdorf has been appointed Vice President of Professional Services, reporting directly to IKON's Chairman and CEO, Matthew J. Espe. Mr. Kohlsdorf will provide leadership and direction in developing a strong services portfolio and go-to-market strategy for IKON's Professional Services, which include a wide range of document management services, including document assessments, customized workflow and application development. Mr. Kohlsdorf has more than 20 years' experience managing software technology companies, most recently as President and CEO of T/R Systems, Inc. The company, a leader in the printing and publishing industry and a Deloitte & Touche "Technology Fast 500 Company" from 1999-2002, was recently sold to Electronics for Imaging. Mr. Kohlsdorf will continue to support the integration of the two companies through the month of November, and will begin to transition to IKON in December. "Michael Kohlsdorf is a gifted and seasoned executive who brings a wealth of technology and business expertise to IKON," said Espe. "His strong understanding of the document management industry and technologies will be instrumental to IKON as we continue to build a strong portfolio of services to help our customers increase efficiency and streamline workflow." Mr. Kohlsdorf is a special advisor to the Board of Directors of Equitrac Corporation and serves as a member of the John Cardinal O'Hara MBA Steering Committee at the University of Notre Dame. He spent eight years at IBM Corporation and was a 2001 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist. Mr. Kohlsdorf holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame, majoring in international business and finance.
