Caldera elected Top Product again by Wide Format Imaging readers

Press release from the issuing company

Caldera's RIP and workflow solutions have once again received the user seal of approval and been voted 2013's Top Products by the readers of Wide Format Imaging magazine. Caldera Version 9.10 was the poll winner in the Prepress: RIP Software category, while Flow+ 1.6 made the top spot in the Prepress: Workflow Software category.

The latest update to Caldera's award-winning series of RIPs, version 9.10, was released last year to a great reception from industry experts and this award is testament to the extensive improvements Caldera has made for its users. Version 9.10 includes full integration with Adobe PDF Print Engine (APPE) 2.6, Raster2PDF, multi-page collation and Japanese language support, as well as new options and extensions such as Textile Step & Repeat and enhancements to the VisualCUT+ and EasyMedia modules.

"We are delighted to have Caldera v9.10 voted one of WFI readers' Top Products for 2013," says Sebastien Hanssens, Vice President Marketing, Caldera. "With the new release, we worked very hard to ensure that we did more than simply meet the demands of our customers, but that we exceeded them too. This recognition serves as confirmation that we did that – but we won't stop there. We'll keep improving Caldera products as the markets change, so that our users will always be one step ahead."

Caldera's workflow solution, Flow+, also underwent a major upgrade in 2012 as the company refocused its workflow team with the addition of Workflow Sales Manager Serge Clauss. Improvements made based on customer feedback included a major overhaul of the quotation system, CRM and GUI and a new, faster processing engine. New features such as an Installation Planning tool and more reporting options were also added to simplify resource forecasting and production monitoring.

"This is great news for us on the workflow team, as it means that we're heading in the right direction," says Serge Class, Workflow Sales Manager, Caldera. "We set out to bring our users a really comprehensive and easy-to-use workflow product with Flow+ 1.6 and if the WFI readers say it's their Top Product, that's good enough for me."
