Kodak Expands Managed Media Service Offerings through Agreement with CHALEX Corporation

Press release from the issuing company

ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Kodak, through a new agreement with CHALEX Corporation, has expanded its Managed Media and Print Services platform to enhance how enterprise brand owners leverage branded content into existing and new business models to reduce costs and build new revenue streams. The addition of the CHALEX SmartFlo Software to Kodak’s platform enables brand owners to monetize the significant volume of assets into content-rich business processes and print-on-demand solutions.

Kodak’s service platform increases the efficiency of solutions that help enterprise brand owners manage, target, deploy and monetize their corporate communications and branded content. The expansion into content creation and management for automated print and digital distribution is a natural progression of Kodak’s broader services portfolio.

“We constantly look for ways to apply our business process and content management software to deliver unique process improvements for customers,” said CHALEX’s President Murray Oles. “Working with Kodak provides CHALEX with the opportunity to expand the business process management capabilities of the SmartFlo Framework into new vertical markets that we have previously not served.”

The new services from Kodak benefit companies in consumer-facing industries such as retail, packaged goods, real estate and sports management that require capabilities to create and distribute high-value branded content in both printed and digital formats including circulars and point-of-sale brochures, as well as product loyalty and redemption programs. By delivering SmartFlo Software as a web-based services framework, Kodak also enables brand owners to effectively deploy their content-based solutions at a lower cost.

“Leveraging CHALEX’s media management expertise enables Kodak to deliver an integrated solution and service model for our customers through a broadened toolset,” explained Julie Skipper, Director of Managed Media and Print Services, KODAK Services for Business. “Building upon a solid platform of Kodak’s proprietary technology integrated with third-party applications results in a flexible and secure solution framework to ensure performance, desired quality levels and highest customer satisfaction that will ultimately drive innovative new revenue opportunities for brand owners.”
