IFRA Expo in Frankfurt will see 3TControl Precision Systems announce expansion into South East Asian markets to bring high performance newspaper automation for the first time to an exciting and fast growing region.
 
One new product launch that 3TControl is unveiling is a smart density extension to its successful PrintAutomation platform IPA. The new extension has been successfully trialed in Spain, Germany and Norway and provides precision ink presets tailored for every individual ink key giving better performance than traditional pre-setting systems. High quality ink density feedback data from the IPA system allows for effective auto-learning boosting performance and profits via optimised makeready.

3TControl head of business development, Sergio Mu-oz, commented, "Our PrintAutomation system already provided more automation than any other system on the market offering closed loop ink density control, colour register on all plates, fan out, as well as precision cut-off and side-lay control. Our development focus in the last year has been to get the best initial density conditions possible from every press as fast as possible, and also to take advantage of the inline density readings at every ink key. The solution was to add smart density functionality that allows the system to learn each presses and each individual ink keys characteristics for different paper, colour and ink types."
