Intec's PS PRO RIP Offers New Features

Intec Printing Solutions Limited, the digital printer manufacturer and distributor, has launched a new generation of RIP.

The PS PRO RIP, based on the Harlequin Server RIP from Global Graphics Software, brings a host of new features to Intec users, including enhanced colour management, Harlequin Precision Screening and imposition.

"The new Intec PS PRO RIP is a major step forward for quality and productivity for all of our clients requiring professional print performance and quality," says Ian Melville, Managing Director of Intec Printing Solutions Limited.

"Our new RIP has started shipping and will include many new features such as multiple language support in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian and Chinese. This will enable us to better service our international client base around the world.

"The award winning Harlequin RIP processes PDF and PostScript natively in one engine giving greater accuracy and efficiency.  It is compatible with a wide range of PDF creation tools and compliant with industry standards.  Its rich workflow options – such as colour management, screening and imposition - and high processing speeds make it the industry leading choice for graphic arts applications. Later this year job costing and estimating will be available as an option."

All new Intec systems are now be shipped with the new PS PRO RIP while existing Intec systems can be easily upgraded for optimum performance.
