Nick Benkovich, Kodak’s Director of Product Management for Print Workflow, will present “Workflow Efficiencies through Automation and Integration” at the Graphics of the Americas (GOA) 2012 event in Miami Beach, Fla. The session is one of four bonus sessions offered by GOA to educate attendees on the technology trends that will have a future impact on their businesses.

As one of only 52 certified JDF experts in the world, Benkovich is an active member in CIP4, the International Cooperation for the Integration of Processes in Prepress, Press, and Postpress Organization, whose mission is to foster the adoption of process automation in the printing industry. In his presentation, Benkovich will examine the evolution of automation, highlight the benefits of integrating business and production workflow systems, and provide attendees with insights on how to optimize their technology investments. He will discuss how automation and integration can drive costs out of the print manufacturing process through increased visibility, streamlined efficiencies, and reduction of manual touch points and error.

GOA attendees will also be among the first to get a sneak peak at some of Kodak’s innovative new workflow solutions that will be unveiled at drupa 2012, the world’s largest graphic communications show, including a preview of the next generation of KODAK PRINERGY Workflow System and KODAK INSITE Prepress Portal System.

The presentation will be given on Friday, Mar. 2, 2012, at 2:00 pm at GOA 2012. GOA 2012 begins Mar. 1 and closes on Mar. 3 and is expected to attract 9,800 printers, designers, and creative professionals from over 90 countries.
