Rosensweig To Keynote Print Outlook Conference In December

October 23, 2003 -- Dr. Jeffrey Rosensweig, renowned speaker on global strategy and economic trends, will keynote the annual PRINT OUTLOOK conference December 4-5, 2003 at the Washington Marriott hotel in Washington, DC. Rosensweig is Associate Dean for Corporate Relations and Assistant Professor of International Business and Finance at the Goizueta Business School, Emory University. Prior to joining Emory in 1988, he was an international economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. He is the author of Winning the Global Game: A Strategy for Linking People and Profits, appears frequently on network television business news programs and has written extensively for business journals and magazines. The conference will open with an overview and the prospects for the printing industry by moderator Frank Romano, Professor of Integrated Publishing Sciences at the Rochester Institute of Technology, College of Imaging Arts and Sciences. Following Rosensweig’s presentation, Charles Pesko, CEO, CAP Ventures, will discuss "Digital Technology and the Future of Print." Speakers in the Thursday afternoon session will include NPES Consulting Economist Michael K. Evans, President of The Evans Group, on "Prospects for the Economy;" Andrew Paparozzi, Vice President and Chief Economist, National Association for Printing Leadership on "Printing Industry Dynamics;" Harris DeWese, Chairman and Principal, Compass Capital Partners, Ltd., on "Prospects for Mergers, Acquisitions and Venture Capital;" and Ron Davis, Chief Economist with Printing Industries of America, on "The Prospects for the New Printer." Davis will moderate a panel on printers surveying their prospects. Friday’s program will feature a full-morning briefing on Capitol Hill, followed by opportunity for attendees to visit the offices of their Congressmen and Senators. Now in its 23rd year, PRINT OUTLOOK is sponsored annually by NPES The Association for Suppliers of Printing, Publishing and Converting Technologies.
