President of Banta Print Sector Resigns, Succession Process Begins

Press release from the issuing company

October 20, 2003 -- (WhatTheyThink.com) -- Larry Panozzo has resigned his position as President of Banta’s Print Sector. A Banta spokesperson told WhatTheyThink.com that he has decided to pursue other opportunities at this time. His last day will be October 31. The succession process has begun to fill the position. "Although I am personally disappointed, I respect and accept Larry's decision. We will miss his deep knowledge, passion and leadership," said Banta Corporation President and Chief Executive Officer Stephanie Streeter in a statement. Panozzo began with Banta in 1988 as Business Manager of the Banta Publications Group. In October 2002, he was promoted to Print Sector President, a newly created position responsible for all four of Banta's print divisions: the Banta Book, Publications, Direct Marketing and Catalog groups.
