Conference Scheduled for Sept. 13-14 in Chicago
Brussels, Belgium – Twixl media, developer of publishing solutions for iPad, announces it will attend the ePublishing Conference as a key sponsor. The ePublishing Conference is scheduled for Sept. 13-14 in Chicago and will coincide with Graph Expo at McCormick Place Convention Center.
The ePublishing Conference is the only conference dedicated to the ePublishing industry and it promises to show attendees what's new and what's coming and offers a number of how-to sessions on topics ranging from eBook and magazine publishing and on-demand print documents to interactive documents and adding animation and video to ePubs.
Twixl Publisher: functional and elegant
At this conference, Twixl media will showcase and demonstrate its core solution, Twixl Publisher. Twixl Publisher is a publishing solution that takes projects from InDesign and easily translates them into iPad applications. Actually, it is a combination of a stand-alone (Mac OS X) application and a plug-in for Adobe InDesign CS5 that converts and exports traditionally created documents into interactive reader applications for iPad. Twixl Publisher targets designers, marketers and publishers and can create iPad applications for an unlimited number of sectors and application domains, such as brochures, datasheets, magazines, annual reports, sales presentations, manuals or newsletters.
A preferred solution amongst many designers and proven to be a great alternative for more complex and expensive solutions on the market, Twixl Publisher has also impressed independent industry experts such as Peter Villevoye from Studea. Villevoye is an 'Apple Distinguished Professional' and 'Adobe Industry Influencer' since 2009. He got excited while evaluating Twixl Publisher during a recent demo webinar. "I can't keep myself from shouting that Twixl Publisher provides for an absolute pleasant, intuitive experience," he commented. "I will integrate Twixl Publisher in my Digital Publishing seminars and presentations and start recommending it as it reflects both great functionality and elegance."
User experience prevails
"We listen to the market and the needs of designers and thus continuously integrate new requirements and improvements in our solution," says Luk Dhondt, Product Manager at Twixl media. "We always keep in mind to bring solutions that are simple to use, simple to deploy and simple to maintain. In our most recent version 1.5, launched in July, a great number of additional features have been added, including support for Google Analytics. Anyone can download the updates from the download page. In addition, we have made a new "Tips & Tricks" demo available that offers guidance on some frequently requested features, Dhondt concludes.
