Press release from the issuing company

ALGONQUIN, Ill.--Oct. 8, 2003-- Printing without Print Drivers and Remote Printing Add Valuable Services to AlphaNet's Family of Business Traveler Solutions AlphaNet Hospitality Systems Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Zunicom, announces the selection of Electronics For Imaging's (EFI) PrintMe guest printing solution for its business center products. With EFI's PrintMe, AlphaNet's products; The Office an automated business center solution, Laptop Connect a high-speed Internet connectivity solution and WaveLan a WiFi solution, will give users the ability to print popular document formats without downloading and installing new printer drivers or reconfiguring their laptop computers. Prior to PrintMe's "driverless" solution, users needed to load the printer drivers for the local printer and find the appropriate cable to connect their laptop with the printer. Now, guests simply go to the PrintMe URL where they can upload the document to be printed and click on the PrintMe button. Within seconds, the document will start printing at their location. "EFI's PrintMe "driverless" printing solution is a great addition to AlphaNet's family of business traveler products", explains John Beasley, Executive Vice President of AlphaNet. "Time spent printing documents, especially for first time users, will be greatly reduced, because printer driver installation and configuration will no longer be needed. This is a significant productivity tool for the business traveler. We anticipate having the initial AlphaNet installations of the EFI PrintMe solution implemented starting in October." The new relationship between AlphaNet and EFI provides business travelers with great benefits. Using PrintMe, hotel guests will now be able to send print jobs from their guestrooms via the Internet, to AlphaNet's automated business center solution, The Office, and retrieve documents at their leisure. At participating properties, simple guestroom instructions will be provided for connecting to the PrintMe URL (Internet link). After clicking on the PrintMe button, a confidential document ID number is displayed that is used to securely retrieve the document at the business center. "We are pleased that AlphaNet, a leading supplier of connectivity solutions to the hospitality industry, has selected EFI for their guest printing solution," said Ofer Tenenbaum, General Manager for EFI's Enterprise Solutions Group. "AlphaNet's customers can now offer their business guests the ability to easily print needed documents anytime and anywhere, without worrying about printer drivers or cables."
