VANCOUVER, British Columbia--Oct. 7, 2003-- Creo Inc. is pleased to announce a successful Graph Expo 2003, North America's largest print industry trade show that concluded last week in Chicago. Creo is pleased to congratulate the many Creo customers who won awards in the 16th annual Gold Ink awards and the Premier Print Awards, known as the Benny Awards. These awards honor the printing industry's highest quality of print and innovation. The majority of the awards were presented to Creo customers and to print buyers who selected printers with Creo solutions to produce their winning entries.
Throughout Graph Expo, Creo focused on demonstrating solutions that allow printers to completely integrate their print production process, cut costs, expand their markets, and become more profitable. Highlights included the global launch of the new Creo Positive Thermal Plate, the Staccato screening showcase with thousands of customer samples on display, and the announcement that 27 leading companies have joined Networked Graphic Production(TM) as partners, committed to the industry-wide initiative to create JDF-enabled solutions that will reach the market quickly and have the maximum value for their mutual customers.
Creo also launched new Spire(TM) color servers for the new Xerox DocuColor(TM) 3535 and 5252 printers. Creo Spire servers offer the highest possible color quality, productivity and variable information capability for the Xerox systems.
