Chalifoux Named PIAS New President and CEO

(Nashville, TN.) With unanimous approval by the Board of Directors, Edward G. Chalifoux was named the new President and CEO of the Printing Industry Association of the South, Inc. (PIAS) effective January 1, 2004. Since 1994, Chalifoux has served as the Director of Membership, Vice President of Member Services, and now in his current role Executive Vice President for PIAS. He is succeeding as PIAS President David F Bacon, who announced his decision to retire December 31, 2003. Prior to working at PIAS, Chalifoux grew up in a family owned sheetfed and web printing company called Photopress, Inc. located outside of Chicago. After graduating college, Chalifoux sold for American Envelope Company and Hinz Lithographing both Chicago area companies. Ed holds a Bachelor's degree from Iowa State University and attended graduate school at Illinois Benedictine College. Ed, his wife Carrie and their two children live in Franklin, TN.
