Press release from the issuing company
CHICAGO, -- R. R. Donnelley & Sons Company introduced today its CustomPoint Solutions Group, comprising a suite of content creation, management and delivery services designed to help customers increase revenues and compress costs. Industry veteran Ann Marie Bushell, who most recently served as RR Donnelley's Executive Vice President Marketing, was named Group President.
"We are bringing together a unique set of resources that complement our traditional capabilities in order to deliver integrated end-to-end solutions," said Thomas J. Quinlan III, RR Donnelley's President and Chief Executive Officer. "Our CustomPoint Solutions Group offers collaborative strategies for creative and editorial content creation, multichannel marketing, proven e-subscription models and self-serve direct marketing. Under Ann Marie Bushell's direction this Group also provides an avenue for even more quickly integrating future technology-based acquisitions into our portfolio."
RR Donnelley has acquired Helium, Press+, 8touches and Nimblefish since December 2010. More than a million business users have registered profiles with the Group's CustomPoint online communication management system that is used to place self-serve orders for custom documents, direct response programs and other materials. RR Donnelley's premedia capabilities include creative strategy and execution, photography services, digital asset management systems and more.
Ann Marie Bushell stated, "CustomPoint Solutions' capabilities offer unique value not only through innovative targeted solutions, but because they are closely integrated with RR Donnelley's broader content delivery resources. For example, we can help customers create editorial content, move it seamlessly into printed and digital formats, print it, repurpose it for online and mobile devices, facilitate delivery, and then help drive incremental revenues for our customer through increased online subscriptions. For customers across a broad range of verticals we can make content work more effectively and efficiently."
