Scott Baker, VP, assumes new role at GMC Software Technology

Boston, Massachusetts and Appenzell, Switzerland - GMC Software Technology, the standard in personalized communication, announced today that Scott Baker, Vice President, has assumed a new role with the company. Reporting to Dr. René Müller, CEO, Baker has taken on the worldwide responsibility for developing and managing GMC Software Technology's strategic distribution channels.

"A key component of GMC's long term growth will be the successful development of dedicated distribution channels with our strategic global partners," stated Dr. René Müller. "In his new position, Scott brings together his extensive channel experience and his deep relationships with our strategic partners to accomplish this important task."

Baker has spent over 25 years in business development, strategic alliance and partner management within the enterprise output management, ECM and business intelligence software markets. Previously, he held senior management positions in business development, strategic alliances and sales with Pitney Bowes, Alysis Technologies, TurningPoint Systems and Datawatch, Inc. As a much sought-after speaker, Baker has presented at numerous industry events, including Gartner IT Summit, Xplor, On Demand/AIIM, PODi and Graphics of Americas and is a regular contributor to industry publications.
