Ennis Breaks Ground At Future Site Of New Corporate Headquarters

Press release from the issuing company

September 18, 2003 -- Ennis Business Forms, Inc. breaks ground in Midlothian, Texas on September 10, 2003 at the construction site of our future corporate headquarters. Over the past 94 years, Ennis has grown from a one-product company serving the cotton industry into a full line printing company. As new products have been introduced into the marketplace, our product line has expanded into the forms, financial and promotional printing markets. Ennis joined the NYSE (EBF) in 1969, and with our new headquarters, we will once again be the only NYSE traded company located in Ellis County. Ennis had sales of $240.7 million for the fiscal year ended February 28, 2003. Ennis Chairman and CEO Keith Walters stated, "There was intense competition between several cities over where to build. After much debate, it was decided that Midlothian encompassed all of the right qualities we needed, such as the prime location, our desire to return to Ellis County, and the convenience for all corporate employees." Ellis County has been the home to several Ennis facilities over the years. Currently, the Ennis, Texas manufacturing facility as well as previous plants in Milford and Waxahachie have all called Ellis County home.
