PrintSoft Americas Holds Inaugural Customer EXPO

Press release from the issuing company

PrintSoft Americas, Inc. held its first annual customer EXPO on August 20, 2003. Held at the Wyndham Northwest Chicago hotel in Itasca, Illinois, the event drew over fifty representatives from PrintSoft Americas (PSA) clients and prospects from all around the U.S.A. The attendees who came to Itasca heard updates on existing products as well as announcements about new products from Brett Dashwood, EDP, PrintSoft Americas’ CEO, Scott Bannor, EDP PrintSoft Americas’ National Sales Manager, and other PrintSoft Americas technical and sales staff. The event also saw introductions and presentations from Harald Weinhandl; Director/General Manager, and Peter Murrihy; Director, Support Services, both from PrintSoft Development Pty, Ltd. (PrintSoft Corporate), who both flew in from Australia for the event. Among the topics and products presented and demonstrated were PrintSoft’s flagship product, PReS, PReS Designer – a new family of WYSIWYG front-ends for PReS, NEWLEAF, a design-to-print WYSIWYG stand-alone composition tool for direct mail applications, Web ELetter, PrintSoft’s browser-based composition system and, of course the very exciting M-PReS. M-PReS Production is a PReS-based production system that has been developed with new modular architecture. The M-PReS Workflow GUI is a multi-user project/workflow management product developed with the latest .NET technology that will enable management of enterprise-level distributed authoring environments. Both M-PReS products are scheduled for release 4th quarter 2003. “The response to our message was overwhelmingly positive”, said Dashwood. “We’ve made huge strides in restructuring and improving relationships with our customers and partners in the Americas since PrintSoft Development acquired PrintSoft Americas in June of 2002. Building on those improvements is our next priority and by the excitement our best customers showed regarding our new product announcements, we’re well on the way to establishing PrintSoft Americas as the premier provider of variable document composition software tools in the Americas, much as PrintSoft is perceived in the rest of the world.” “I’m really glad I came”, said Tom O’Brien, President of Accucopy/AccuTabs a PrintSoft client in Greenville, NC. “From the looks of things, PrintSoft is headed exactly in the right direction – if I had it to do over, I’d definitely come again.”
