Sunset Printing and Engraving Earns Ariba Ready Status
Press release from the issuing company
WHARTON, NJ, August 14, 2003 -- Sunset Printing and Engraving, a certified minority business supplying corporate identity products nationally, announced today that it has successfully completed the requirements for Ariba, Inc.'s, Ariba Ready designation for online transactions with buyers. Sunset Printing and Engraving has proven its integration abilities to the Ariba Supplier Network (Ariba SN) and provides scalable, repeatable processes for transacting with, and providing content to, buyers using the Ariba Buyer procurement solution.
Sunset Printing and Engraving utilizes Ariba PunchOut, allowing customers to "punch out" from the Ariba Buyer solution to Sunsetís NetEZPrint web store front to gather real-time purchasing information, before returning to the Ariba procurement solution to complete the purchase. Ariba PunchOut provides a seamless interface between the end-userís procurement environment and Sunset Printing and Engraving's online customer management systems.
Additionally Sunset Printing and Engraving provides punch out capabilities from NetEZPrint, providing its customers with easy online preview proofing of business card, letterhead, envelope or other product templates before the order is submitted. This eliminates errors, and speeds the printing and delivery of the completed order.
"Ariba has been an important part of our focus to provide our customers with best practice solutions for e-commerce in todayís changing procurement environment," explains Sunset Printing Sales Vice President, Rob Wainer. "We have provided a punch out catalog for a global pharmaceutical company since 2001. Our achieving the Ariba Ready designation is part of our ongoing commitment to upgrade our services to support additional Ariba customers. Full use and support of the Ariba SN, along with our minority certification are important components of our marketing program."
"Sunset Printing and Engraving has joined a growing list of print suppliers that have completed Ariba Ready," said Cindy Elkins, VP Ariba Supplier Programs. "We look forward to seeing Sunset grow its business leveraging the marketing components of Ariba Ready."
Sunset offers full color printing, raised printing, engraving and foil stamping. Sunset is also a certified minority business belonging to the National Minority Purchasing Council.
Ariba Ready is an Ariba initiative to provide a special designation for suppliers who have demonstrated the ability to effectively transact with and provide content to organizations using Ariba Buyer through Ariba Supplier Network. The program helps suppliers communicate their capabilities by acting as a common standard for integration and enablement that all Ariba SN participants can understand and value. Suppliers can self-test their content and integration abilities through the Ariba Ready portal.
