Kodak unveils development services for print service providers

Press release from the issuing company

La Hulpe, Belgium - At Ipex, in stand 9-E320, Kodak is launching an all-new Print Practice Consultancy as part of its KODAK Unified Workflow Solutions. Leveraging the integrated portfolio of KODAK Solutions, and helping customers identify and address the challenges in their specific environments, the new service delivers targeted client solutions. It is designed to help commercial printers customize their current operations and expand their business offerings.

Whether making the transition from print service provider to marketing service provider, or just looking to grow their client and revenue base, customers benefit from the technical expertise and market knowledge Kodak offers. Within the Print Practice Consultancy, Kodak assesses customers' needs and designs an optimized solution to achieve their business goals.

"One of the most important parts of the consulting process is spending the time to learn about the pain points and growth opportunities in our customers' businesses," said Jon Bracken, General Manager, Unified Workflow Solutions, Kodak. "They have indicated that they have unique needs that may need more than an out-of-box solution. We have the ability to not only provide solutions from our extensive product portfolio, but to assess their specific needs and develop a customized solution that fits their exact requirements. We recognize that every situation is different, and work to ensure that every solution will be individually tailored to deliver quality and a high return on investment."

The assessment that precedes the development of a custom solution includes an analysis of key business, process, and technology capabilities. The final recommendation takes into account the resources already in place as well as additional components to help streamline workflow, open new opportunities, and position the business for future growth.

"We see exceptional demand for this new service and we've built a strong team to meet both the business transformation and custom development needs of our customers," said Chris Ries, Managing Consultant for the Print Practice, Kodak.
