Peter Muir of Bizucate to Conduct Six Session Workshop

Land O'Lakes, FL - Xplor International, the worldwide electronic document systems association, today announced that their 2010 Global Conference and Vendor Forum will include a six session social media strategy workshop given by Peter Muir, president of Bizucate, noted industry speaker and coach. The workshop will take place on Thursday, March 18 from 1:30 to 4:30 PM and Friday, March 19 from 8:30 to 11:30 AM at Xplor's annual Global Conference and Vendor Forum, March 17-19, 2010 in Tampa Bay, Florida.

Social networking channels have become one of the strongest assets available to ambitious professionals and organizations. Six 45 minute sessions have been developed to provide attendees with the opportunity to review, discuss and develop their own personal or organization wide social media strategy. In addition, each session will provide an overview of the topic, possible strategy directions and the opportunity to further develop their own ideas and approaches. Attendees will leave this workshop with a social media strategy workbook that is used to guide each session, capture their own ideas on why they may want to use a particular channel, which channels to use, how to use them, content they can develop or share that's relevant to your audience and industry.

"Our social media workshop is designed for anyone at any level within your organization," said Peter Muir, president of Bizucate. "If you have a genuine curiosity about the way we communicate today and will communicate tomorrow, would like to keep your job, get a raise, support the customers you have, find new customers, help to hire and maybe even have to fire, there's a lot you can learn in this social media strategy workshop."

As part of this workshop, those who register for the 2010 Global Document Conference and Vendor Forum will be sent a series of optional pre-workshop assignments to help put them in the social media workshop mood and help them maximize the time in the workshop. Attendees will learn:

- Benefits, drawbacks and points of caution that may come from engaging with your peers, competitors, clients, and employees using the ever expanding social networking channels
- How individuals and organizations are successfully using social networking
- How to responsibly use social networking at work
- How to develop a social networking strategy
- How to evolve your strategy and learn from your experiences
- Ways to use social networking to improve traditional business communication (sales, marketing, support etc)

As Xplor celebrates their 30th year providing excellent education to the document industry, they are offering a number of flexible registration packages including a platinum passport (all courses, all days and all events) as well as a choice of day passes. The pre-conference intensive can be combined with a Platinum passport, day pass or purchase stand-alone. The conference and vendor forum will be held at the Tradewinds Island Grand Hotel and Conference Center, a AAA four-diamond, 585-room resort destination.
