New appointments made to Kodak's Document Imaging Business leadership

Press release from the issuing company

Rochester, NY -- Kodak's Document Imaging business recently named Tony Barbeau as General Manager and Russell Hunt as Regional Business Manager, United States and Canada (US&C).

Barbeau leads all aspects of the Document Imaging business worldwide, including product and solutions development, marketing and overall business development. He reports to Dolores Kruchten, General Manager, Business Solutions and Services Group, and Vice President, Eastman Kodak Company. Hunt leads marketing, sales and business development programs in the US&C to promote KODAK and BÖWE BELL + HOWELL (BBH) Scanners and expand opportunities with channel partners, developers and end user customers. Hunt reports to Barry Quart, General Manager, Americas Region, Kodak's Business Solutions and Services, Eastman Kodak Company.

"Successful businesses continue to invest in technologies that help to manage the demands created by growing regulatory compliance, tough competitors and rising customer expectations," said Barbeau, previously Vice President, Marketing, Document Imaging, Kodak's Business Solutions and Services Group. "Kodak's Document Imaging business will play an increasingly important role as more businesses discover how paper-driven processes impact efficiency and performance. With the recent addition of the Scanner Division of BBH, Kodak can provide channel partners, independent software vendors, and end users benefits in choice and applicability that are on the leading edge of the industry."

Recent surveys reveal that businesses plan to focus future information technology (IT) investments on cost management and securing data. Document imaging, a growing market in North America and other regions, offers capabilities for businesses to input paper-based documents and records into content management applications and solutions. Digitally integrating documents eliminates many manual steps and processes to help increase productivity, create cost savings and provide real benefits on investment.

"Kodak's expansive portfolio of document capture components help resellers and developers create effective solutions that can meet their customers' specific information- and process-driven needs," said Hunt, former General Manager, BBH Products, Document Imaging, Kodak's Business Solutions and Services Group and former President, BBH Scanner Division. "Kodak aims to help every business, from the companies moving to a paperless environment, to large corporations automating entire business systems through the use of digitized files, records and forms."

Kodak's portfolio includes award-winning BÖWE BELL + HOWELL Scanners, KODAK Scanners, KODAK Capture Pro Software, KODAK Solutions, and KODAK Service and Support. A choice of desktop, workgroup, departmental and production-level devices, as well as flexible, compatible, easy-to-use software, enables sales and channel teams to build solutions with a variety of partners and independent software vendors (ISVs) for key markets including healthcare, government and finance.
