C&P Microsystems Announces Additional Markets

Press release from the issuing company

Petaluma, CA August 25, 2008– C&P Microsystems, announces the expansion of international markets. C&P Microsystems is a world leader in paper cutter automation technology and currently has over 25,000 retrofit and OEM installations worldwide. New international relationships were solidified at the recent DRUPA exhibition. This was the first DRUPA exhibition for the PIA/GATF InterTech award winning C&P microcip technology.

The C&P Microcip technology allows older machines to seamlessly integrate CIP3/4 and JDF compatibility. "As movement of the CIP3/4 and JDF compatibility continues to go from the press room to the bindery we have been and continue to be, at the forefront of this development both on an OEM basis as well as in the retrofit market " states Tom Wood, VP, C&P Microsystems.

The move to create this type of technology is driven by manufacturers discarding older but still functionally reliable cutters. As the cost of new equipment escalates it is important to offer cost effective alternatives to new machinery.

"To our knowledge no other company offers the technology to seamlessly integrate CIP3/4 and JDF compatibility into existing paper cutters," states Wood.
