Kodak Focuses on Business Opportunities in TransPromo, Color VDP at GOA/Xplor
Press release from the issuing company
ROCHESTER, N.Y., Mar. 2 -- Over the next three days in Miami, Kodak will explain, demonstrate and introduce new tools to help customers capitalize on data driven applications that use TransPromo and color variable data techniques in booth 1104 at Graphics of the Americas/Xplor 2007 International Exhibition and Conferences.
“At Graphics of the Americas/Xplor 2007 we want to help attendees explore new market segments and emerging applications such as TransPromo documents that can help them grow their business,” said Jeffrey Hayzlett, Chief Marketing Officer, Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group. “The opportunities in data driven applications are real and KODAK digital printing and workflow solutions can help print providers capitalize on this growth area.”
Emtex Software and KODAK digital print solutions
Emtex Software’s growing support for KODAK digital print solutions now includes the KODAK VERSAMARK VX5000e System, with resolutions up to 1200 by 300 dpi.
Paired with the VERSAMARK VX5000e printing system, the EMTEX VIP Server allows users to manage high resolution print files for TransPromo and direct mail applications, while EMTEX VDE has excellent print stream re-engineering capabilities and world class workflow automation options. The VERSAMARK VX5000e printing system incorporates the latest evolution in continuous inkjet printing from Kodak. With an effective resolution twice that of the previous generations of continuous inkjet printheads, the VERSAMARK VX5000e system delivers an effective combination of high print quality and high productivity supporting a variety of print formats.
New KODAK VERSAMARK CS300c System Controller
The new KODAK VERSAMARK CS300c System Controller for KODAK VERSAMARK V-Series Printing Systems offers data centers, service bureaus, and other producers of transactional documents higher levels of performance, color, flexibility and productivity.
The controller drives VERSAMARK V-Series Printing Systems in the industry standard Advanced Function Printing/Intelligent Printer Datastream (AFP/IPDS) workflow environment. The system provides the ability to print high volume transactional documents, billing statements and direct mail—in full process color with variable data—with a single pass printing process that saves time and delivers a low cost per image.
KODAK Reprint Solution
In Miami, Kodak introduces a reprint solution that eliminates the need to interrupt high volume production runs for very short reprint jobs while delivering 100 percent of a customer’s printed product with consistent quality throughout a print run.
In order to match the look and feel of the VERSAMARK V-Series Printing Systems, Kodak will offer customers the HC5500, a high speed sheetfed, full color inkjet printer from RISO that ties directly into the same workflow driving the VERSAMARK V-Series System.
Kodak experts and industry partners will be interviewed at Kodak’s booth (1104) on important trends and emerging applications for TransPromo and color variable data printing. Sessions include Turning Statements into Sassy Sales Tools, Create Thrilling Customer Communication in High Quality Color, Workflow for All Environments, KODAK MARKETMOVER Network Helps you Grow!, and One Kodak, which covers Kodak’s newest solutions and how they work together to help customers capitalize on data driven applications. Each session lasts 20 minutes.
