Press release from the issuing company
TEWKSBURY, MA -- July 30, 2008 -- ECRM today announced the appointment of Ed Millhorn as Business Director for Latin America. With over 25 years experience in graphic industry sales, Mr. Millhorn will oversee and manage the companys current and developing sales and marketing channels in South and Central America, as well as the Caribbean and Mexico. He will work from a base office in Miami, Florida and report directly to ECRMs Vice President, Western Hemisphere Sales, Doug Barr. The appointment is effective immediately. Eds extensive sales and executive management experience compliments our growth strategy in the Latin American community, notes Barr. As an industry veteran of 25 years in the marketing of CTP and workflow solutions, as well as consumables, he will be an invaluable asset to our customer base and sales channels in the region. His background in consultative sales has consistently translated to both company profitability and the successful implementation of new and value-adding prepress solutions. I look forward to the positive impact he will have in our Latin American markets.
Mr. Millhorn has supported the acceptance and growth of CTP almost since its inception. From 1996 to 2006, he held sales positions of increasing responsibility at Creo America (at the time, the leading CTP provider) and then Kodak, after the merger. His sales management career was preceded by field sales positions at Compugraphic and Agfa, where he helped introduce DTP and PostScript imaging to Chicago-based printers. Ed comes to ECRM from Vigitek Ltd, a leading provider of Inspection Systems for the printing industry, where he was the Vice President of North American Sales.
