NEW YORK CITY – April 9, 2008 – Iain Pike, a business leader in color management at SmartColour, will be a panelist during FUSE 2008 and will speak about the importance of brand color management in packaging.
Pike's presentation will be held on April 16 from 1:15 to 1:55 p.m. and will focus on four main points:
- How important color is to brand,
- The importance of having a color brand owners can call their own,
- How to execute brand color so that the color on various substrates is consistent, and
- Potential pitfalls brand owners should avoid.
The presentation will discuss the emotional implications linked to color and the consumer experience, and explain why that makes the consistency of color on various substrates so important.
Additionally, Sun Chemical's SmartColour will be introduced as an innovative solution to help brand owners see, in its earliest design phase, how spot colors can accurately reproduce across commonly used substrates and printing processes for packaging.
