Deerfield Beach, Florida -- February 22, 2008 -- David Ashkenaz, owner and principal of Ashkenaz Consulting is proud to announce that he has started his 10th year as an Independent PrintSmith Consultant helping printers install, implement, and upgrade their PrintSmith Management Systems. Ashkenaz started in the printing business in 1972 and in 1979 owned and operated a print shop in Florida. Later taking the one single location to five locations, his firm was named to the Top 100 Quick Printers in the USA.
After he sold his locations, he applied his energies to learning the PrintSmith application and began consulting for fellow printers. Today, after many years as an Independent Consultant, Ashkenaz installs and trains printers of all different sizes on how best to use PrintSmith in their operations. With Ashkenaz's in depth, hands-on printing experience, he's naturally adept at adapting the management system to the commercial printer's needs as well as the unique needs of the In-Plant operations.
"My clients come to me because I not only understand their business and the PrintSmith application, but I can make them mesh in harmony with their operation," notes Ashkenaz. "With my experience, I know the questions to ask and how to relate to the printer's specific issues and concerns. And with time always at a premium, I can usually complete my setup relatively quickly."
A few of Ashkenaz's many clients remark:
"After many failed attempts to install and train our staff on all the powerful features of PrintSmith, I made the decision to hire David Ashkenaz to manage the task. David helped us institute PrintSmith at Ohio University and not only did he get us up and running quickly, but his knowledge of PrintSmith and the printing industry helps keep us going when we have questions. We simply call or email David with any questions and he quickly responds with some very good information and always has the answer to our issue" says David Kasler, Director of Ohio University Printing and Graphic Services, Athens, Ohio.
Ralph Dunavant, Owner of American Printing & Paper Products, Inc. (Manassas, VA) remarks: "Like most print shops, we purchased PrintSmith to help us get organized. After a lot of trial and error with the user manual we were about to give up on installing PrintSmith. Then another print shop owner recommended David Ashkenaz. We were up and running within a few hours of his arrival. The rest of his time was spent training me and my staff on how to use PrintSmith. His after installation service has been the reason I recommend David to anyone thinking about using PrintSmith."
And Dwayne Magee, Director of College Press at Messiah College (Grantham, PA) says it all: "David's knowledge and experience with PrintSmith are unparalleled. We could not have instituted PrintSmith without him. We continue to rely on David and he is always quick to respond with very good information. He knows his way around PrintSmith like Eric Clapton knows his way around a guitar."
