Productivity and Performance
Nuevo Technology features a scaleable and parallel RIP architecture that manages jobs and drives them at a rate of 1,000 ppm. With its new performance level, the technology will enable CREO Color Servers to drive high volume applications such as TransPromo, photo rich and direct mail.
Color and Image Quality
Nuevo Technology adapts and leverages Kodak's unique image enhancement capabilities that enable high quality automation for batch editing of images, positioning CREO Color Servers as a solution for the photo rich application market.
Variable Data Printing (VDP)
Nuevo Technology increases value to direct mail print service providers with premium connectivity to VDP authoring tools and composition engines. Newcomers to VDP will enjoy an embedded VDP composition engine and predefined VDP templates that make it easy to begin exploring the business opportunity and benefits of variable data printing. More advanced VDP solutions are available via an easy upgrade path.
Nuevo Technology provides premium connectivity to the latest versions of KODAK Unified Workflow solutions such as KODAK PRINERGY and KODAK INSITE Workflow Systems. This connectivity brings higher value to users when considering expanding digital print opportunities while demanding operational super efficiency. KODAK Unified Workflow solutions enable better connectivity with CREO Color Servers.
The PODS Group also continues to develop its Workflow Partnership Program that is based on open standard, JDF based connectivity to third party workflow solutions. New integrations will be announced at drupa. In addition, the PODS Group develops long term collaboration with many VDP product vendors, in order to provide customers with the widest choice of market ready solutions for VDP.
In addition, CREO Color Servers drive production digital presses of industry leading vendors such as HP, IKON, Konica Minolta, and Xerox. CREO Color Servers based on Nuevo Technology enable OEM partners to connect to Kodak's largest workflow portfolio for intelligent automation and integration of business, data, color and production processes for both conventional print and digital production.
