KBA Presents Two day In-Depth Seminar on Energy Curable UV Inks and Coatings

June 27, 2007 -- KBA North America, a leading press manufacturer based in Williston, Vt., will be holding a two-day   in-depth seminar on UV Curing Inks and Coatings on July 24-25, 2007 at its corporate office and Customer Center in Williston, Vt. The firm has lined up a long list of experts and will be providing in-depth instruction and analysis on a variety of aspects regarding this topic.
The topics to be covered include drying systems, an explanation of hybrid presses, combination printing rollers, UV inks/hybrid inks in relation to conventional printing processes, pre-press adjustment for UV, finishing requirements, UV consumables, plastics and non-porous substrate overview, new applications, special effects, and the future outlook for this area.
Attendees will have the opportunity to see print test results on KBA’s Rapida 105 41-inch sheetfed press as well as the Genius 52 UV.  Representatives from PACE Industries, Flint Group, Bottcher Rollers, and several other companies will be present to educate attendees on all areas of UV Printing.
