The International Business Awards are the only global, all-encompassing business awards honoring great performance in the workplace. The awards, nicknamed the "Stevies" (from the Greek word for crowned), will be presented June 26 during a gala dinner in New York for about 200 global executives. The Stevie Awards, hailed as "the business world's own Oscars" by the New York Post, began in 2002. Its global component, the International Business Awards, debuted in 2003.
The June 26 event will be videocast live online by HB Group and broadcast on radio in the United States by the BusinessTalk Radio. For the second year, Tanya Beckett, New York-based business presenter for the BBC, will host the ceremony.
