New Orleans-Based Blanchard Systems Announces Return To Corporate Headquarters

Press release from the issuing company

NEW ORLEANS, LA – April 11, 2006 – Blanchard Systems announces that all of its operations and critical services have been permanently relocated back to the downtown business district of New Orleans, Louisiana. The company is conducting business as usual from its headquarters on Poydras Street. At no time during this transition were there any interruptions in technical support, computer services or business operations. As Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans, Blanchard Systems had relocated their corporate offices to Houston, TX. All New Orleans personnel were relocated to corporate housing in Houston. Despite all of the tragic events throughout the area, the company’s customer support systems continued to operate in a ‘business as usual’ mode. “We have had a disaster recovery program in place for many years, which helped us considerably over the past few months,” comments Keith Zibilich, Blanchard Systems chief operating officer. “It was a classic example of a technology integration company practicing what they preach by not losing critical support infrastructure for one minute—despite taking a direct hit from a Category 4 hurricane. Nothing ever changed at Blanchard Systems, other than the address.” “We would like to thank all of our customers and partners for their patience and support during our transition period, as we moved to Houston and back to New Orleans. The business community in the city is showing signs of activity and energy again,” remarks Charles Blanchard, Blanchard Systems CEO. “We are very excited to return to our New Orleans offices, not only to conduct our business in the gorgeous downtown Poydras Place high rise, but to open our doors once again to host our clients and business partners as a better and stronger company.”
